THE FIELD GUIDE / Priest
Azeroth Survivors Priest Build: Discipline
Build a shield cycle first, then add damage that works while the shield holds. Breaking a shield is a trigger, not a reason to take every hit.

THE 31-POINT CORE
One route. Three milestones.
Buy talents in the numbered order. A repeated talent means add ranks to it; the fraction shows its new total rank.

This is a proposed core, not a measured best build. It spends 31 points; keep the remaining 20 flexible. Milestones require 10, 20 and 30 points already invested, so buying them brings the totals to 11, 21 and 31.
Divine Aegis
Start with Power Word: Shield; a broken shield damages nearby enemies.
Rapture
A broken Power Word: Shield is replaced immediately, at most once every 15 seconds.
Penance
Penance fires three holy bolts at nearby enemies about every 3 seconds.
INSIDE THE RUN
Support the core you chose.
Spells to look for
These are compatible effects, not guaranteed card offers. Keep a useful defensive or recovery spell when it solves an immediate problem.
Equipment priorities
- Reliable recovery
- Cooldown recovery
- Damage
Compare item effects rather than copying an unavailable named item. Keep the effect that is currently keeping you alive.
Change your decisions when the pack thins.
Keep a direct damage spell alongside the shield cycle. A boss does not need to break every shield for you to make progress.
Do not deliberately absorb more damage than you can survive to trigger a shield explosion. Replacement has a cooldown.
Before you copy the build
What if I have fewer than 31 points?
Stop at the last affordable step and continue as you earn points. A milestone only works after you buy it; do not plan an early run around a starting spell unlocked by the capstone.
What should I do with the last 20 points?
Use them to address the weakness you actually see. We have not benchmarked a universal 51-point allocation. Check the current tree and prerequisites before extending this core.
Which race is required?
No specific race is required by this allocation. Race bonuses are excluded from the evaluation; choose using the current in-game racial panel rather than assuming one race is best for every zone.
Sources and scope
Talent names, rank limits and prerequisites were checked against the creator’s 0.103.1 client on October 20, 2026. The numbered order is our editorial allocation. Icons are the game assets referenced by those talent records.
This page does not claim a recorded full clear, tested DPS or a best-in-slot item set. Boss advice follows the route’s triggers; it is not a guarantee that a boss can be controlled.
